Electrical Engineering Department posts perfect passing rate

Ateneo de Davao School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA), through the Electrical Engineering Department, produced six new licensed electrical engineers after posting a perfect passing rate in the September 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination (REELE).

According to results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electrical Engineering, all first-time examinees from ADDU SEA passed the licensure exam, giving the university a 100% passing rate against a national average of 49.31% for the same exam period.

ADDU’s new Registered Electrical Engineers are Ella Mayeen L. Ebad, Peniel Joshua A. Jainar, Gabriel Paolo P. Prochina, Oliver Chosen II A. Ramos, Marc Justin O. Rico, and Francis Dan R. Rigor.

About the REELE and what’s next for the new Engineers

The REELE is administered nationwide by the PRC’s Board of Electrical Engineering to certify graduates seeking to practice as electrical engineers in the Philippines. The results reflect the leadership of School of Engineering and Architecture Dean Dr. Renyl B. Barroca and Electrical Engineering Department Chairperson Engr. Fortunata Pompeya Nicolas, as well as the continued efforts of the department’s faculty, staff, and students.

Newly registered engineers are expected to take their oath before the Board of Electrical Engineering as part of the standard licensure process, with oath-taking details to be announced by the PRC.
