The School of Education (SOE) forms well-rounded professional educators capable of turning those student aspirations into reality. Through a holistic approach combining rigorous academic preparation, adaptive mentorship, and meaningful community immersion, the school equips future educators with advanced pedagogy, analytical rigor, and cultural sensitivity needed to champion social transformation for Mindanao and beyond.

Steered by the Education Cluster, these comprehensive competencies are delivered through the Teacher Education Department for undergraduate tracks, spanning from early childhood, elementary, and specialized secondary education in English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science, and the Educational Leadership Department for graduate studies.

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECE)

A program designed for those who want to work with children from ages 0 to 8 years old. It focuses on how young children grow. think. play, and learn, and on creating fun, meaningful activities that support their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. 

Students participate in school vísits, hands-on activities, and practice teaching to gain real experience in guiding young learners and building their early foundational skills. 

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)

A program that prepares future teachers for the Philippine elementary classroom. lt covers all major subjects taught in Grades 1-6, including English, Filipino, Math, Science, Araling Panlipunan, EsP, and MAPEH, along with Mother Tongue.

The program develops skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching diverse learners. School observations, classroom projects, and practice teaching help students become confident and effective elementary educators.

Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English (BSEd-English)

A program focused on preparing future English teachers for junior and senior high school. It includes studies in grammar, literature, communication, and effective English teaching strategies.

Students engage in classroom-based investigations and small scholarly tasks to better understand how learners develop language skills. Practice teaching and immersion activities help build confidence in guiding students in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.

Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics (BSEd-Mathematics)

A program for those who aim to teach mathematics in high school. It covers algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and modern approaches to teaching math. 

Students take part in problem-solving activities, classroom observations, and inquiry-based tasks that deepen their understanding of how learners grasp mathematical concepts. Practice teaching helps future educators design engaging and student-friendly math lessons.

Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Social Studies (BSEd-Social Studies)

A program that prepares future teachers of Social Studies subjects such as history, geography, economics, and politics. It explores how societies function and how people interact with their communities and the world.

Students participate in community-based activities, interpretive tasks, and simple investigations that build awareness of real social issues. Fieldwork and practice teaching help future educators create lessons that encourage critical thinking, cultural understanding, and active citizenship.

Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Science (BSEd-Science)

A program designed for those who want to teach science subjects like biology. chemistry, physics, and earth science. It includes experiments, field activities, and inquiry-based projects that strengthen understanding of scientific concepts and how tasks help future educators design. Practice teaching and hands-on engaging lessons that spark curiosity and connect science to everyday life
