Master’s and doctoral programs across six schools. Here is exactly how to apply, from your first form to your first day of class.
Graduate admission at the Ateneo follows four steps, and unlike undergraduate admission, the exam comes before the interview:
Each school manages its own graduate admissions. Reach the office for your program directly:
| Programs | Office | Contact |
|---|---|---|
| Arts and Sciences, Education, Engineering | Graduate School Office | +63 (82) 221 2411, local 8403 or 8405 |
| Business and Governance | SBG Graduate School Office | +63 (82) 221 2411, local 8401 or 8311 |
| Nursing | School of Nursing Graduate Office | +63 (82) 221 2411, local 8364 |
Foreign applicants follow the same four steps above, with additional requirements for the documents you bring from abroad. Your Transcript of Records, Birth Certificate, and Diploma or Certificate of Graduation must each be apostilled or authenticated by the Philippine Embassy, along with a notarized or authenticated Certification of Financial Support. If you are 18 or older and pursuing a course beyond high school, you will also need a student visa before you can enroll.
Graduate credits earned from other Philippine schools are evaluated by your Program Coordinator. Credits from foreign schools are evaluated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), upon the recommendation of your Program Coordinator or Director and the Assistant Dean of the Graduate School. Every graduate student completes a residence requirement of two semesters at the Ateneo, carrying a minimum load of six units per semester.
Each Graduate School office can walk you through requirements, schedules, and fit for your program
