The University Clinics

About Us

The University Clinics are an integral unit under the Central Administration and are directly supervised by the Vice President for Administration. The Clinics are committed to providing efficient, effective, and quality healthcare services to the students, faculty, and staff of Ateneo de Davao University.

Each campus maintains a clinic staffed by qualified healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to promote the health and well-being of the University community in accordance with the University’s vision and mission.

Goals of the University Clinics

The University Clinics is concerned with the holistic well-being of its members of the community. It ensures a health program that is comprehensive and coordinated. It promotes and maintains the health and well-being of students, faculty, staff, and other members of the university community through accessible, quality, and comprehensive healthcare services. Its main goal is to provide medical and dental services directed at:

a.) initial treatment for the symptom/s of a disease or illnesses that may affect the students and employees while in the campus e.g. symptoms of any communicable or infectious diseases (Viral and Bacterial infections)

b.) emergency either medical or dental e.g. Wounds, burns, acute musculo-skeletal injuries, toothache or any life threatening situation

It does not intend to care for diseases that are chronic in nature, defined as a disease that persists for a long time. It does not intend to attend to diseases that necessitates specialist care and expertise.

Medical Services

The Ateneo College Clinic provides the following medical services:

Physical Examination

For school-related activities and university requirements.

Satellite Clinic Services

Medical assistance through designated satellite clinics.

Enrollment Physical Examination

For first-year students, transferees, and returnees.

Health Promotion

Health education through bulletin boards, infographics, and Department of Health (DOH) campaign activities.

Emergency Consultation

Initial assessment and management of emergency cases occurring within the campus.

Dispensing of Basic Medicines

Provision of available over-the-counter medications as indicated.

Emergency Rescue and Referral

Stabilization and referral to partner hospitals when necessary.

Dental Services

The Ateneo College Clinic provides the following dental services:

Dental Consultation and Oral Examination

Assessment of oral health conditions.

Oral Prophylaxis (Teeth Cleaning)

Once per academic year, subject to clinic guidelines and appointment availability.

General Guidelines

  • Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis unless emergency care is required.
  • Students and employees must present a valid University ID.
  • Emergency cases shall be given priority.
  • Referral to an outside healthcare facility shall be made when the patient’s condition requires specialized management.
  • Medical information is handled in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
  • Students may be required to present additional documents depending on the service requested.
  • Availability of medicines and services is subject to clinic resources.

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Physician Consultation Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN / 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Dental Clinic Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN / 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
