ADDU Robotics, ADDVentures Exhibit at Handa Pilipinas, DOST XI RSTW
As of 14 October 2026, Ateneo de Davao University, through the Robotics Engineering Department and ADDVentures Innovation Center, is ready to welcome visitors to its exhibit booths at the 2026 Handa Pilipinas and the 2026 Department of Science and Technology Region XI (DOST XI) Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW).
The Mindanao leg of Handa Pilipinas runs from 15 to 17 October at SMX Convention Center, held alongside the DOST XI Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW), which highlights the achievements and progress of science, technology, and innovation in Davao. The event coincides with the National Science and Technology Week.
The University on the exhibit floor
ADDU’s presence at the event brings together two units that carry the University’s engineering and innovation features to the wider Davao community.
The Robotics Engineering Department, under the School of Engineering and Architecture, represents the University’s training of students in robotics and intelligent systems. Its participation gives students and faculty a venue to present their work to the public, share ideas with other innovators, and see how robotics and engineering can respond to real community needs.
The ADDVentures Innovation Center, the University’s premier technology business incubator, works with DOST on caravans that connect local startups and innovators to national support programs and mentorship. It is among the university-based incubators in Davao supported by DOST through its Heirit program.
Inviting the Ateneo community
The University invites all members of the Ateneo community to visit the booths from 15 to 17 October 2026 and show support as the team features innovation, creativity, and excellence in science and technology.
Exhibiting alongside government agencies, industry, and other institutions gives ADDU students and innovators a venue to share their work with the public and to learn from it.
