The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) does more than prepare students for their professions; it prepares them for the world.

As the heart of liberal education at Ateneo de Davao University, the School of Arts and Sciences forms holistic professional leaders ready to navigate the digital age and the rapid emergence of Artificial Intelligence. Through engaging in free thought and inquiry, the students will explore multiple facets of human and nonhuman life: the self, society, natural environment, and God.

Hailing from the fields of natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and computer studies, students learn to think critically and act across disciplines, grounding them in multidisciplinary perspectives and allowing them to meaningfully engage with the diverse world they participate in.
