ADDU Senior High Learners Get Hands-On Odoo ERP Training

On the 24th of September 2026, Ateneo de Davao University, in collaboration with Odoo, conducted its hands-on Odoo Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) training for ADDU Senior High School learners at the Finster Auditorium, Jacinto Campus.

Held in collaboration with the Ateneo de Davao Computer Studies Cluster, the session gathered Grade 12 learners from the Business and Entrepreneurship Pathway and Pre-Computer Studies track. Ms. Danee Montecillo, Odoo Education Program Officer, served as the resource speaker.

Learning through a real-world platform

Throughout the day, the learners explored the features of Odoo, an internationally recognized ERP platform used by businesses globally, and gained practical experience in managing integrated business operations.

ERP systems bring a company’s core functions, such as sales, inventory, accounting, and customer management, into a single platform. By working directly with such a system, learners saw how different parts of a business connect and how data from one area informs decisions in another.

The hands-on format gave learners from both pathways a shared experience: those in the Business and Entrepreneurship Pathway saw how organizations manage their operations, while those in Pre-Computer Studies saw how technology supports those processes.

Building skills for the workplace

Through the training, learners strengthened their digital and analytical skills, working directly with the kind of tools used in actual workplaces.

By bridging classroom learning and real-world application, ADDU continues to prepare its Senior High School learners for the evolving demands of business and technology.
