Sacred Spaces and Infrastructure
At Ateneo de Davao University, our commitment is to educate the whole person, nurturing both physical and spiritual growth.
Over the past six years, we have focused on expanding and enhancing our facilities to foster creativity and collaboration in academic and athletic pursuits. Our dedication to environmental sustainability has led us to incorporate green technology in our construction projects, setting a standard for resilience to climate change.
Simultaneously, we are dedicated to providing formative experiences that promote the holistic development of our students. Our spiritual and religious programs respect the diverse cultures and faiths of Mindanao and aim to deepen student engagement with Ignatian spirituality. This includes fostering intercultural and interreligious dialogue and reinforcing a faith that seeks justice.
The facilities in Ateneo de Davao allow students like me to feel like we are already on the forefront of our industry. Because of them, I am able to learn more skills more quickly and to apply them directly into practice.

Support our priority for state-of-the-art facilities by giving to the following:
Laboratories Upgrade
to support the enhancement of facilities for science and engineering

Ateneo de Davao University’s Jacinto Campus features over 30 specialized laboratories, including those for computer science, chemistry, biology, physics, environmental science, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, and mechanical engineering.
Looking ahead over the next five years, the University plans to equip its computer, engineering, and natural sciences laboratories with the latest technology and tools essential for student advancement. We are also committed to maintaining and upgrading these facilities over time.
Donors who contribute to the enhancement of the University’s facilities will have the opportunity to name the laboratories or spaces they support. This recognition underscores the vital role of their contribution in furthering the University’s mission and vision.
Sacred Spaces
to uphold spaces of sanctity and prayer

At Ateneo de Davao University, we are devoted to preserving and enhancing our sacred spaces, which play a vital role in the spiritual life of our community.
The chapel at our Senior High School campus, named after Christ the King, is a beacon of devotion and reflection. Spanning 675 square meters, it accommodates approximately 350 individuals, serving as a welcoming space for fellowship and spiritual growth. Your donation can help support this chapel, as well as fund religious artworks and liturgical instruments that enrich its sacred ambiance.
The Junior High School campus, the only academic unit without a dedicated chapel, will soon benefit from a new chapel inspired by Earth and designed with tropical and sustainable principles. This new space will meet the spiritual needs of nearly 2,000 students, reminding the community of our stewardship of God’s creation.
Additionally, we are expanding our retreat and recollection centers with a new facility in Tibuloy, Toril, Davao City. This center will feature two dormitories, prayer rooms, conference spaces, a chapel for over 50 people, and communal areas designed for Ignatian reflection and dialogue.
By contributing to these initiatives, you help ensure that our sacred spaces continue to inspire and support the spiritual journey of our students and community.
Renovations
to revitalize and elevate the learning facilities

The renovations are designed to address the essential upkeep of our venerable buildings and facilities, reflecting the need for modernization after years of dedicated use in our 76-year-old institution. These enhancements will touch every corner of our campuses, including Jacinto Campus (college), Bangkal Campus (senior high school), and Matina Campus (junior high school and basic education), ensuring that all spaces continue to inspire and support our students’ growth and learning.
