AdDU Hosts 3rd Mindanao Book Festival with MindaNews and Mindanao Institute of Journalism

Ateneo de Davao University, in partnership with MindaNews and the Mindanao Institute of Journalism, proudly hosts the 3rd Mindanao Book Festival from the 21st to the 23rd of May 2026 at the Miguel Pro Learning Commons, 2nd Floor, Community Center of the First Companions (CCFC/Blue Bldg.), Roxas Avenue, Davao City.

This year’s festival carries the theme “Writing Mindanao, Righting Mindanao,” a call to tell Mindanao’s stories with honesty, depth, and purpose. It is a celebration of literature, journalism, and the power of the written word to shape how we understand ourselves and the communities we belong to. 

In amplifying Mindanao voices and narratives, the festival speaks to the broader work of building inclusive, just, and peaceful communities where no story goes unheard and no people go unseen. The university is inviting everyone to come, read, listen, and be part of the conversation.
