Ceremonial Signing of Memoranda of Understanding with Partner Universities: Formalizing Multiple Agreements for Academic Collaboration

Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) formally signed and renewed Memoranda of Understanding with partner institutions from Canada, the United States of America, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia on 10 April 2026 at the Living Room, 9/F Faber Hall, Community Center of the First Companions.

Participating partner institutions included Nipissing University, Soegijapranata Catholic University, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, Hachinohe Gakuin University, Charlton Brown, Telkom University, and Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology.

AdDU was represented by its President, Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ, together with University administrators. Also present during the ceremony was Dr. Evelyn Ecle, Education Supervisor II and Focal Person for Internationalization Programs of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XI, representing Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, CESO III, Regional Director of CHED RO XI.

These partnerships open opportunities for student and faculty mobility, joint research initiatives, and meaningful academic exchanges, strengthening AdDU’s engagement with global partners.
