Ms. Tracy Ace Villanueva Appointed as Assistant to the VP for Administration

The Ateneo de Davao community warmly welcomes the appointment of Ms. Tracy B. Villanueva as the Assistant to the Vice President for Administration. Made upon the recommendation of the Vice President for Administration, Mr. Jeremy S. Eliab, the appointment is effective from 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2029.

Ms. Villanueva previously served as Director of the College Admission and Aid Office, where she led student recruitment and enrollment strategies. She also serves as Strategic Communications Specialist, supporting university-wide marketing and public relations initiatives, and as part-time faculty in the Communication Department. Her background in administration, communications, and academic instruction informs her work in advancing institutional priorities.

The Assistant to the Vice President for Administration (AVPA) provides strategic leadership in aligning the University’s communications and marketing efforts with its institutional priorities. The role ensures clear, consistent, and mission-aligned messaging across academic and administrative units, while overseeing institutional branding, digital presence, and stakeholder engagement.

Working closely with the Vice President for Administration and in coordination with the Office of the President, the AVPA strengthens cross-unit collaboration and supports the development and implementation of communication strategies that advance the University’s visibility and reputation under Fortiores 2030.
