AdDU Celebrates Davao City Hall Centennial with Calle San Pedro Heritage Exhibition
This National Heritage Month, Ateneo de Davao University invites you to step into the heart of Davao City’s history.
“Calle San Pedro: The Art in/of the City” is now open at Rodriguez Hall, Community Center of the First Companions (CCFC Building), from the 29 May 2026 to 30 June 2026, Mondays through Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free.
Mounted in honor of the Davao City Hall’s centennial milestone (1926–2026), the exhibition brings together sacred religious artifacts, archival and street photography, paintings and sketches by Davao artists, and video stories of the city’s landmarks and murals. It is a space where art, faith, history, and civic memory meet under the theme “Roots and Horizons: Our Shared Heritage, Our Collective Future.”
Faculty members are warmly encouraged to bring their classes before the exhibition travels to its national venue. Bring your family and friends — this is a story worth experiencing together.
This exhibition is presented by the University Archives, the Communication Department, and the Languages, Literature, and Arts Department, with the Ateneo Culture and Arts Cluster, in partnership with Museo Dabawenyo, the Davao City Office of Culture and Arts, the HCDC Institute of Davao Studies, and the San Pedro Cathedral Parish.
Come and honor our local kabilin. We look forward to welcoming you.
