Ateneo de Davao University Signs a Memorandum of Agreement with BDO Foundation, Inc.

Ateneo de Davao University formally signs a Memorandum of Agreement with BDO Foundation, Inc. on the 16th of July 2026 at the Sampaguita Boardroom, 48th Floor, BDO Corporate Center, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.

Launched as a special program under the ADDU Office of Pathways for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Engagement, this partnership introduces a premier career pathway option for AdDU students in Computer Studies and Business-related programs. BDO Foundation will fund scholarships covering tuition and fees for qualified junior and senior students. The program crucially integrates mentorship, apprenticeships, and hiring opportunities, ensuring graduates are professionally competent and values-grounded upon completion of their studies. The signing was witnessed by faculty and students of the Computer Studies Cluster via Zoom.

Signing on behalf of Ateneo de Davao University were Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ, University President; Fr. Antonio M. Basilio, SJ, Vice President for Higher Education; and Ms. Lilibeth L. Leh-Arcena, MA, MAEEE, Director of the Office of Pathways for Institutional Advancement and Alumni Engagement.

Signing on behalf of BDO Foundation, Inc. were Mr. Nestor V. Tan, Trustee and BDO Unibank President and CEO; Ms. Maria Corazon A. Mallilin, Trustee and BDO Unibank Branch Banking Group Head; Mr. Mario A. Deriquito, Trustee; and Ms. Evelyn C. Salagubang, Trustee and BDO Unibank Human Resources Group Head.
