Information Systems
The Information Systems Department offers a BS in Information Systems (BSIS) program which includes the study of the applications and effects of information and communications technology to organizations. Knowledge and skills acquired include the technical ability to implement an information system that can collect, filter, process, create and distribute data to support operations, management, and decision-making in organizations. Moreover, IS professionals require a sound understanding of organizational principles and practices so that they can serve as an effective bridge between the technical personnel and the other users within an organization.
