Why does Ateneo de Davao need my gift?

We greatly appreciate our donors and benefactors for their continued support for the University and its advocacies. However, recent developments from the recent passage of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, or Republic Act 10931, have posed difficulties for private education, namely a marked decrease in student enrollment in private higher education institutions nationwide, in favor of free state university education. In order not only to ensure consistency in providing quality education and leadership formation to students, but also to further extend quality education to more future leaders in Mindanao, the Ateneo de Davao University will need the support, kindness, and generosity of its donors and benefactors.

In time for the University’s 75th anniversary this 2023, the Ateneo de Davao is launching the More Together campaign that aims to provide 75% of its students with some form of scholarship from endowments to the A1 scholarship program. This campaign will help the University fulfill its mission and realize its vision as the premier higher education institution in Mindanao devoted to forming leaders who dedicate themselves to the pursuit of social justice and the common good. With your kindness and generosity, you will help us build more facilities, reach more students, and enrich more experiences together.

You may visit www.addu.edu.ph/giving if you want to know more about the “More Together” campaign.

For over 70 years, the Ateneo de Davao University has provided quality human education to students not only from Davao City but from the whole of Mindanao. We have consistently worked to form leaders who are strong in faith that does justice from grade school to college. Our graduates have also claimed great achievements in diverse professions and devoted their careers to the pursuit of excellence and the love of service.
