Jacinto Campus

Laboratories Upgrade

Ateneo de Davao University’s Jacinto Campus has over 30 laboratories that meet the needs of students in specialized fields. These laboratories include computer laboratories, chemistry laboratories, biology laboratories, physics laboratories, environmental laboratories, electrical engineering laboratories, electronics engineering laboratories, and mechanical engineering laboratories.

With the next five years in mind, Ateneo de Davao University hopes to furnish the computer, engineering, and natural sciences laboratories with the latest equipment relevant to their respective fields to assure that students are provided with the tools and technology they need to advance in their studies. The University also aims to assure the maintenance and upkeep of these laboratories over time.

Donors to the University’s facilities will be offered naming rights to the University facilities where they choose to donate. Such an incentive reflects the importance of the donor’s contribution to the realization of the University’s mission and vision.

Construction of the Aerospace Engineering Laboratory

The Philippine government, through DOST-PCIEERD, has recently identified the Davao region as an ideal aerospace launching site and has initiated plans to build small satellites and launch pads in Northern Davao. Ateneo de Davao University projects that the country will need 800 aerospace engineers in the next five years. As the first university to offer an Aerospace Engineering course, Ateneo de Davao University is poised to provide the country its pioneering batch of homegrown aerospace engineers.

Ateneo de Davao University aims to provide state-of-the-art equipment suited for the Philippines’ first Aerospace Engineering students. Aerospace Engineering laboratories provide spaces for students to develop and conduct various experimental setups and researches.

Renovation of the Law School

The Senior High School campus contains 22 laboratories to meet the needs of its students who are pursuing various academic tracks in preparation for college. These laboratories include 4 biology laboratories, 4 chemistry laboratories, 4 physics laboratories, 4 computer laboratories, 2 mechanical engineering laboratories, 2 electrical engineering laboratories, and 2 drafting laboratories for architecture classes.

Bangkal Campus

Construction of Sports Complex

The Senior High School Sports Complex spans 2490 square meters that comfortably fits an arena housing 5 basketball courts, and a 400-metre standard running track. The Sports Complex also includes various green spaces which the students may use during their free time.

Swimming Pool Construction

The Swimming Pool houses a 50-meter long and 25-meter wide Olympic-sized swimming pool partially covered with canvas. It includes 10 swimming lanes, and is furnished with bleachers, showers, and dressing areas.

The Ateneo de Davao University is a PCNC-accredited donee institution. We will issue Certificates of Donation to corporate donors upon request. Corporate donors will need to prepare and provide the pertinent information by ticking the check box in the Giving Form labeled: “Giving as Corporation.”

We will issue official receipts in Philippine Pesos.
