Ateneo de Davao University is proud to announce the formal trademark registration of Malnutrition Intervention Alternatives (MIA) with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, registered on the 27th of February 2026 under Class 5 for vitamin and mineral food supplements, valid for ten years until 2036.
MIA addresses hunger and malnutrition in Mindanao through a nutritious and affordable micronutrient powdered mix sourced from local farmers, supporting feeding programs for underweight children in Davao City.
