The signing ceremony was held at Ateneo de Davao University on 26 September 2025. Representing ADDU were Fr. Antonio Basilio, SJ, Vice President for Higher Education; Mr. Romulo Vinci Bueza, Executive Assistant to the President and Director of the Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao Office; along with university deans, faculty, and staff. Representing PAEF were Ms. Jessica Simon, Chairperson of the Fulbright Philippines & Counselor for Public Affairs – U.S. Embassy in Manila; Mr. Julio Amador III, Executive Director of Fulbright Philippines; and Mr. Chad Kinnear, Director of Public Engagement at the U.S. Embassy in Manila.
This MOU formalizes the academic and cultural partnership between ADDU and PAEF, a bi-national commission that administers the prestigious Fulbright Program. The partnership provides opportunities for faculty and student exchanges, joint research, participation in academic seminars, institutional and educational training programs, and cross-cultural study abroad initiatives through the Consortium for Study Abroad in the Philippines (CSAP). This collaboration opens doors to greater international mobility, stronger academic cooperation, and richer cultural exchange.
