
The Ateneo de Davao University, through the Malnutrition Intervention Alternatives (MIA) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with AboitizPower during the One-Time Ceremonial Signing of 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSA) Programs at the Therma South, Inc. in Barangay Binugao, Davao City, on 27 June 2025.
MIA is an initiative of the Ateneo de Davao University to help underprivileged children by providing a multiple micronutrient Power Powder to fight malnutrition. The Power Powder is made from six (6) all natural ingredients mixed and added onto meals as a supplement to their nutritional value. With this signing, MIA will continue to reach and help out many more communities.
The event concluded with a very strong commitment from Therma south, Tesda, DepEd, MIA and other partners of Aboitiz to create empowered, safe, productive and sustainable communities in Mindanao. With an advocacy towards sustainable development, AboitizPower responsibly operates its facilities, while also providing jobs and welfare to its partner communities through its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
