On behalf of the Ateneo de Davao Community we congratulate, Dr. Joan Grace A. Palconit, as our Newly Appointed Principal of the Ateneo de Davao Senior High School.
Dr. Palconit has been part of Ateneo de Davao University for two decades, serving in various academic and administrative roles. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics from the University of the Immaculate Conception and a Master of Arts in Education (Filipino) from Holy Cross of Davao College. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, faculty leadership, and student formation. She previously served in the college unit, where she contributed to language instruction and program development, before transitioning to Senior High School. Most recently, she was Cluster Leader for Filipino (2024-2025), overseeing language and humanities instruction.
The appointment will be effective in June of this year.
