A meeting between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region XI delegation and the Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) was held at the CCFC Building on June 26, 2024.
In the discussion, the DENR XI delegation headed by RED Atty. Ma. Mercedes V. Dumagan and the AdDU representatives, led by University President Fr. Karel S. San Juan, SJ, spoke about the current environmental issues related to Mining and updates on the Samal Island-Davao City Connector (SIDC) project. Also in attendance were members of Green Juris, an environmental organization from the Ateneo de Davao University School of Law.
