Earlier today, esteemed guests from the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), Malaysia had a courtesy visit with Fr. Karel San Juan SJ, University President, Dr. Nelly Limbadan, Ph.D. Assistant Dean of the Social Sciences Cluster, and Mr. Romulo Vinci Bueza, Executive Assistant to the President and Director of the Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao (AIM) Office.
Among the guests were Prof. Ir. Dr. Lee Sze Wei, TAR UC President, Assoc. Prof. Say Sok Kwan, Vice President for Administration and Internationalization, and Dr. Karthiyani A/P Shanmugam, Dean for the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities.
The two parties had a cordial meeting, bonding over the courses and programs offered in their respective universities as well as the similarities and differences of their country’s lifestyles. The successful meeting sparked interest in collaborating in the future and perhaps even adopting programs brought up during their conversation. As the meeting ended the guests were given a short tour of the campus facilities, mainly the chapel, and the 11th and 9th floors of the CCFC Building before the guests departed.
