The Ignatian Spirituality and Formation Office (ISFO) and Grade School Formation Office will be having their 21st live streaming episode of ISFO TV entitled, “Kabataan ang Sakalam, Zero Waste Maalam! A Conversation on How Our Youth Take Care of Our Common Home,” on January 28, 2022, at 4:00 PM.

The Ateneo de Davao University has been faithful in carrying out this mission by creating advocacy that championed the love and care of our common home, the Ecoteneo.

The Renewed Province Plan Thrust #5: Cultivate personal and institutional ecological conversion and the priority agenda of the Mindanao Consortium of Ateneos are all focused on this.

In the shift to online learning, the ISFO in collaboration with the Grade School Formation Office and Ecoteneo Office brings the mission through a live streaming activity. Through this platform, we look forward to reaching our pupils and the community through a lively sharing of experiences, insights, and ideas, stories, way of life, varied expressions on how we care for our common home.

This January, we celebrate Zero Waste Month and the Feast of the Sto. Nino. These are significant celebrations that complement our love for the common home. The Grade School students will find their way to make known their personal experiences as EcoKnights in the upcoming event entitled “ Kabataan lang ang Sakalam, Zero Waste Maalam! This is also an avenue for them to hone their leadership skills as advocates. Together with their parents, who are our partners in the formation of our pupils, and invited teachers as guests and hosts, we look forward to this virtual gathering bringing to mind our responsibilities as stewards of God’s creation, and in our hearts our genuine response to the call to action.
