The Ateneo de Davao University’s School of Education in partnership with the Xavier Learning Community (XLC) in Chiang Rai, Thailand and with critical support from the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia, celebrates the completion of the XLC Cultures-Based Curriculum on 01 October 2021 via Zoom Teleconference.
The Curriculum Development team presented the XLC cultures-based curriculum, the main output of the XLC-ADDU collaboration. The curriculum was designed in a way that is mindful of the standards in Thailand tertiary education, for it is intended to empower XLC’s vision to become a new and unique institute of higher learning in Thailand.
It was a celebration among supporters, allies, and friends of the XLC Project from across the years. It celebrated the success of the cumulative efforts of the Curriculum Development team, with members from both the ADDU School of Education and the administrative and academic departments of XLC.
This Final Presentation of the XLC Cultures-Based Curriculum formally closes the curriculum development phase and marks the beginning of the Pilot Implementation of Years 1 to 4 Curricula (as they are incorporated into the administration of learning in XLC) with established monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
