Mr. Mussolini Lidasan, Director of Al Qalam Institute was awarded a Fellowship at the King Abdullah Bin Abdlaziz International Center for Interreligious Dialogue (KAICIID) International Fellows Programme 2016. As a fellow he is currently attending the Orientation and Capacity-building Training (November 29, to December 6, 2015) at Vienna, Austria.
The KAICIID International Fellows Programme “brings together teachers from various religious education centers for Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism to participate in a series of in-person and online trainings on interreligious dialogue, coexistence, and pluralism”. “the Fellows will have the opportunity to develop and implement small-scale local and international projects during the course of the programme, and will further organize and attend dialogues, lectures and field visits”.
The participation of Mr. Lidasan in this Programme will definitely help enhance the University’s ability to pursue its key result area in the area of interreligious dialogue. (University Research Council)
