Another Atenean makes a mark in sports. Samantha Nicole V. Dizon, a BS Accountancy 1 student of Ateneo de Davao University received a plaque of recognition at the 21st So Kim Cheng Awards Night on Wednesday, 22 July 2015.
A volleyball player, Samantha was a mainstay of the AdDU High School Varsity Team. She was also a two-time Silver Medalist during the Palarong Pambansa in 2014 and 2015. Thus, she was recognized for her outstanding achievement in the field of volleyball for the year 2014 to 2015 at the Royal Mandaya Hotel.
Samantha (GS 2010 & HS 2015) is the eldest daughter of Donna Jane V. Dizon (BSBA 98, HS 94, & GS 90), a Grade School Faculty teaching Filipino in Grade Three and the sister of Shelly (PS 2015).
The sports recognition event was organized by the So Kim Cheng Foundation in partnership with the Davao City Sports Council, Inc.
