Before entering the campus, please read the following to maintain a safe, comfortable and enjoyable Ateneo Visit or Tour experience. Group Campus Tour Hours/ Visits/ Appointments The University Main Campus is open from 8AM to 5PM, Mondays through Fridays, 8AM to 12NN on Saturdays. Groups requesting to visit the campus must submit a letter of visit request to the Office of the University President through the Office of the Physical Plant Administrator, Engr. Paul Manuel Abrina. Fax request at (82) 226.4116 or e-mail This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it Please indicate the purpose of visit, preferred places, offices or facilities to visit, preferred date and time of visit, and the number of guests or even a list of guests. Campus visits or appointments after 5PM may be allowed provided a special permission from an authorized administrator or office is arranged with the security. Alumni should have prior arrangement with an office they will visit if they come after 5PM, or a prior arrangement should be done with the Physical Plant Office through the Alumni Affairs Office. Guest's I.D. and Campus Pass You must submit and will only be admitted to the campus if you have an acceptable form of identification (ID). An acceptable form of ID must be a current and original identification (government issued or otherwise) that contains the guest's name, and the guest's photograph. All of these must be demonstrated by this single piece of ID provided. Examples include, but not limited to a passport, driver's license, military ID, school ID, etc. Any guest who does not provide an acceptable form of identification may be denied entry into the campus.The security personnel log all guests' entry. A special GUEST PASS will be issued. Security Checks Everyone entering the Campus is subject to a security check. Bags, parcels and/or items shall undergo inspection before entry. The University reserves the right not to allow any suspicious looking bag, parcel, item or person to enter the Campus. Items, like guns and deadly weapons, firearms not allowed inside the Campus may be left at a designated repository by the gates. Guests shall be given a claim stub to pick deposited items upon exit at the gate. People under the influence of or showing signs of being under the influence of drugs, substances and alcohol will be denied entry. Drugs, firearms and other deadly weapons are strictly prohibited in the Campus by law. Firecrackers, pyrotechnic devices and other similar devices and the exploding of firecrackers or other similar explosives in the campus are prohibited under City Ordinance No. 06-02, s. of 2002. Tour Flow The duration of the tour takes about an hour to finish. Tour Guides from the Admissions Office are provided for the guests to assist them in every zone and hall. Guests are prohibited to enter classrooms and restricted areas unless accompanied by authorized personnel or administrator. Appointments Guests and parents who want to see specific administrators or personnel should make an appointment. Kindly call +63 (82) 221.2411 (see Telephone Directory) and ask the operator to connect you to the proper staff that will schedule your appointment. Proper Attire Guests wearing slippers and sleeveless shirts are not allowed inside the Campus. Smoking Smoking is not allowed inside the Campus by law. Photography and Videography by Guests Photography, videotaping, recording of any kind of the campus, its facilities and halls, broadcast or transmission, for commercial purposes is not allowed unless explicit permission has been approved by the Office of the President through the Office of Physical Plant. Violation of this provision shall be dealt with accordingly. Vending and Selling Selling of any goods, products, food and other materials is prohibited inside the campus unless explicit permission has been approved by the Physical Plant Office and/or Commercial Spaces Manager. Violation of this provision shall be dealt with accordingly. Personal Conduct Visitors are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner at all times. Uniformed and undercover personnel reserve the right to apprehend people who behave inappropriately or disturb the academic atmosphere of the campus. First Aid The University Clinic in Jacinto is located at the First Floor of Wieman Hall. Clinics in Matina Campuses are located near the administrative offices. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) can be contacted at Tel 911. Guests with Special Needs Guests of the University requiring special assistance can bring their own wheelchairs to the Campus. Guests bringing in small children may be allowed to use their strollers inside the Campus. Souvenir Shop and Food Court Stopping at the Souvenir Shop is a great way to bring the Ateneo home. There are lots of shirts and novelty items to choose from that make perfect gifts for family and friends. The Food Court, located at the lower Ground Floor of the Finster Hall, brings together a variety of cuisines. Offering various choices of food for academic community, it caters to every palate.
